Latin I
1. Make flash cards for Ch. 2 vocabulary. If you're not using flash cards, prepare your method for vocabulary memorization. Bring flash cards or alternative method to class on Tuesday.
2. Study for Ch. 1 and 2 quiz on Wednesday/Thursday.
Latin II
Do #1-6, Activity CR9, p. 261 of your Review Packet.

Homework for week of August 22-29
LATIN I
For Tuesday: Do Exercise 1a, p. 3.
For Wednesday/Thursday: Exercises 1b and 1c, p. 5 (textbook).
For Friday: Memorize Ch. 1 vocabulary and read pp. 10-11 (textbook).
For Monday, 8/29: Re-read the Latin story on p. 7. Read pp. 8-9, and do Exercises 2b and 2c in the textbook (but don’t write out your translation for Exercise 2c.)
LATIN II
For Tuesday: Do Exercises CR1 and CR2, pp. 256-257 of Review Packet.
For Wednesday/Thursday: Do Exercises CR3 and CR6, pp. 257 and 259.
For Friday: Do Exercise CR7, and study prepositions and noun forms in Review Packet and in the Appendix to your textbook, pp. 323-324.
For Monday, 8/29: Study the forms you missed on your practice quiz.

Homework for Monday, August 22, 2011
LATIN I:
Read the course syllabus and the Introduction to Ecce Romani. Study the maps that come after the introduction, especially the one of the Roman Empire, and then look over the first Latin story, which appears on p. 3.
LATIN II:
Read the course syllabus, and then spend twenty minutes reading through the story that begins on the first page of the review packet I handed out in class (“Cumulative Review”).
