1. Translate the first paragraph (lines 1-4) of "Early in the Day," p. 33 in your textbook.

Do Activity 29h, p. 13, in your workbook.

Due Thursday:

Study for Ch. 28-29 quiz, which will focus on translation and vocabulary.

3. Do Exercise 4c, p. 21 in your textbook.  Don't write out the translation; just write out the sentence parts (subjects, linking verbs, transitive verbs, intransitive verbs, and complements).
