Latin I

Due Wednesday:
Finish your translation of "tumultus II," pp. 94-95.

Due Thursday:
Please study for your Stage 17 vocabulary quiz, which will cover the words on p. 112.

Due Friday:
Please study for your Ch. 17 translation and grammar quiz, which will cover:
1. Translating sentences from "tumultus I, p. 94,
2. Answering questions about "tumulus II,"  pp. 94-95.  It will be closed book, but you will have a copy of the relevant text, and
3. Translating the genitive.

Due Monday:
Please make flashcards for Ch. 18, p. 136.


Latin II

Due Thursday:
Please finish your translation of "Nothing Ever Happens," pp. 255-256.

Due Friday:
Please study and learn the charts on p. 257.

Due Monday/Tuesday:
Study for next Thursday's Ch. 50 quiz, the last quiz this year!  The quiz will cover:
1. Translation, pp. 255-256 (leaving out the lines we skipped),
2. Vocabulary, pp. 255-256,
3. Recognizing and translating the present and perfect subjuctive, pp. 257-258.

Due Wednesday:
If you choose, look over the grammar from this semester, and see if there are any areas on which you especially have questions.

Due Thursday:
Please study for your Stage 16 translation quiz, which will cover the stories "Quintus de se," and "Cogidubnus et Vaspasianus," as well as the use of your forms key to analyze the grammar of sentences.

Due Friday:
Please make flashcards for the words on p. 112.

Due Tuesday:
Please finish your translation of "tumultus I," p. 94.


Latin II

Due Thursday:
Please study for your Ch. 48 quiz, which will include:
1. Vocabulary, pp. 225-226,
2. Translation of "A Day at the Colosseum," p. 225 (just the first page),
3. Open book translation of sentences with the accusative + infinitive construction--i.e. [subject + verb + direct object + infinitive + complement] form.  Review of this is on pp. 200-201, 214-215.

Due Friday:
Please make flashcards for "Nothing Ever Happens," pp. 255-256.

Due Monday/Tuesday:
Study for any make-up quizzes you may need to take, because we will be using our long block to take care of make-ups.

Due Wednesday:
Please complete your translation of "Nothing Ever Happens," pp. 255-256.
