Latin I

Due Tuesday:
Please make flashcards for the Stage 10 Vocabulary Checklist, p. 146.


Due Wednesday:
Translate the sentences in Activity 4, p. 138.  Keep in mind that the "sentences" are sometimes just single words.

Due Thursday:
Do Activity A, #1-3, and Activity B, # 1-3, on p. 90 of the handout given out in class.

Due Friday:
Study for your Stage 10 vocabulary quiz (checklist p. 146), which will be on Tuesday.


Latin II

Due Tuesday:
Study for your vocabulary quiz, on the words in Quondam Futurusque 1, on Quizlet.

Due Wednesday:
Begin researching your character for our King Arthur backstory project.  You will have the whole class on Wednesday to complete this.

Due Thursday:
 Write out a careful translation of the first sentence of the last paragraph of "Introductio Insulae" (back of the sheet).

Due Friday/Monday:
Please translate the passive voice sentences 1, 2, 4, and 5 in Activity D, p. 171 of your green book.  Be prepared to present your translation in class.

1. Comprehension of the stories "in palaestrā," p. 118, and "in tabernā," p. 123.
2. Recognition and translation of the dative (to/for) case.
3. Open book translation.

Due Wednesday:
Study the vocabulary for "Introductio Insulae."

Due Thursday:
 Write out a careful translation of the last line of the first paragraph of "Introductio Insulae."

Due Friday/Monday:
Complete the future tense activity, #5, 6, and 7, on p. 260 of your green textbook.
