Homework Through Monday, December 1

Latin I

Due Tuesday:
Please do the exercise on p. 63 of your WORKBOOK.  If you can't find your workbook, you can find a copy of the page here:

Due Thursday:
Please do the Word Study exercises A and B, on p. 159.

Due Friday:
Please study for the Stage 9 quiz, which will cover:
1. Vocabulary, p. 160,
2. Translation of stories: "thermae" on p. 145, "in tabernā" on pp. 149-150, and "in apodytēriō, p. 152,
3. Comprehension of "in palaestrā," pp. 146-147,
4. Recognizing nominative, accusative, and dative cases,
5. Open book translations.

Due Monday:
If you already took the quiz, then you can take a weekend off from Latin or start preparing for the final.

If you are taking the Stage 9 quiz on Monday, then prepare for the quiz, which will cover:
1. Vocabulary, p. 160,
2. Translation of stories: "thermae" on p. 145, "in tabernā" on pp. 149-150, and "in apodytēriō, p. 152,
3. Comprehension of "in palaestrā," pp. 146-147,
4. Recognizing nominative, accusative, and dative cases,
5. Open book translations.

Due the Monday after Thanksgiving:
Nothing.  Go home and rest.


Latin II

Due Tuesday/Wednesday:
Please make flashcards for the deponent verbs on p. 100.


Due Thursday:
Please complete your translation of "The Trojan Horse," pp. 106-107.


Due Friday:
Please prepare for the Ch. 36 quiz, which will cover:
1. Vocabulary, pp. 97-98,
2. Translation of "Off to School," pp. 97-98
3. An open book translation of passive and deponent verbs.


Due Monday:
If you took the quiz on Friday, then the homework is to make flashcards for "The Lessons Begin," 109-111.

If you didn't take the quiz, then ALSO please prepare for the Ch. 36 quiz, which will cover:
1. Vocabulary, pp. 97-98,
2. Translation of "Off to School," pp. 97-98
3. An open book translation of passive and deponent verbs.


Due the Monday after Thanksgiving:
Nothing.  Go home and rest.
